• Very affectionate

• Family friendly, although dog should be supervised around young children. 

• Good with other dogs, when socialized as a puppy

• Low shed breed, although more frequent grooming required. 

• Low drooling level.

• Long wavy or curly coat 

• Playful, high energy dogs which require lots of exercise. 

• Protective by nature especially of their families

• Very adaptable to new things, events etc…

• Incredibly smart and trainable

• Higher barking level than some breeds.

• Can be "mouthy" as they are a working breed that works with their mouths.

• Needs lots of mental stimulation as they want to work and be challenged.  If you do not keep them busy and mentally stimulated they will keep themselves busy and probably not how you would choose
